Terms and conditions of sale
Article 1 – Length of stay
The customer who has signed this fixed-term contract may not, under any circumstances, claim any right to remain on the premises.
Article 2 – Reservation Procedures
Reservations can be made:
- either online after completing the reservation form and paying the required deposit. A confirmation (a reservation contract) will then be automatically sent to the email address provided during the reservation process.
- either by phone or email. Once we receive your reservation request, we will send you a written confirmation (a reservation contract) via email—or, if you do not have an email address, by mail. We ask that you accept the contract via email or mail as soon as possible and pay the deposit within ten days (or sooner if the reservation was made with less notice).
The deposit is equal to 50% of the total cost of the stay, with a minimum of one night's stay (or 100% if the reservation request is made within 7 days of arrival).
Once the deposit is received, the reservation becomes final. This payment will be deducted from the total cost of your stay upon your departure. Payment of the deposit constitutes your full and unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Important: Failure to pay the deposit within the specified time frame means that the reservation is not confirmed, and consequently, we reserve the right to re-release the room now that it has become available.
Article 3 – Consumer Code – Right of Withdrawal
A reservation made online, by phone, and/or by mail constitutes a distance purchase. This is a distance contract as defined by the Consumer Code. We are subject to Articles L. 121-17 et seq. of the Consumer Code. The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for accommodation services.
Article 4 – Cancellation of the stay by the customer
Any changes can only be made with the prior approval of "Chambre d'hôte Le Rocher Saint-Crépin" and may incur additional charges. Please note that in the event of a cancellation prior to the start of your stay, the guest will be required to pay a penalty fee calculated as follows:
– If the cancellation is made more than 4 weeks before the arrival date, the deposit paid will be refunded in full;
– If the cancellation occurs between 1 week and less than 4 weeks before the arrival date, the deposit paid will be retained by Le Rocher Saint-Crépin;
– If the cancellation is made less than 7 days before the arrival date, the deposit paid will be retained by Le Rocher Saint-Crépin, which will be entitled to claim and invoice the balance of the stay’s price (in accordance with the reservation contract) if the room remains vacant following the cancellation.
In the event of a late arrival and/or early departure during your stay: the full amount for the reserved service is due, regardless of the reason.
Article 5 – Cancellation insurance at the customer’s expense
Please note that our rates do not include cancellation insurance. We therefore strongly recommend that you purchase a policy.
Article 6 – Cancellation of the stay by the owner
If, prior to the start of the stay, the owner is forced to cancel the reservation, they must immediately notify the guest by any means. The guest will then be immediately and fully reimbursed for any amounts already paid.
Article 7 – Check-in Time
Arrival is scheduled for the afternoon, starting at 5:30 p.m. and continuing until 7:00 p.m. If you have any special requests or unforeseen circumstances, please contact us by phone at 0033 (0)6 04 10 48 15 to let us know of any delays.
Article 8 – Check-out Time
Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. at the latest.
Article 9 – Payment of the balance for accommodations
Payment of the balance for your stay (the remaining amount due and the visitor’s tax) is due on the day of your arrival, in accordance with your reservation agreement.
Article 10 – Pets
Pets are not allowed.
Article 11 – Lifestyle and Use of the Premises
To ensure the peace and quiet of the premises and the comfort of guests at Le Rocher Saint-Crépin, all guests are expected to adhere to a certain “code of conduct.” In particular, smoking and cooking are not permitted indoors. Guests agree to comply with the guidelines on proper conduct that will be provided to them and with these general terms and conditions.
The guest agrees to return the room and living area provided in perfect condition and free of damage at the end of the stay, and to promptly report—and assume financial responsibility for—any damage for which they are responsible. Repair costs, including the time required for restoration work, will be billed separately based on documentation of the expenses incurred.
Your stay at Le Rocher Saint-Crépin and the use of our equipment and facilities—such as the motorcycle shelter and the tools provided—are entirely at your own discretion and risk.
Le Rocher Saint-Crépin is not liable for any loss, theft, and/or damage or injury to property and/or persons on the premises, regardless of the cause.
Article 12 – Changes to the Terms and Conditions of Sale
These terms and conditions of sale may be modified at any time without notice. Acceptance of and compliance with these terms and conditions of sale are deemed to have been given as soon as the deposit is paid.
Article 13 – Data Protection Act
In accordance with Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, on information technology, data files, and civil liberties, you have the right to access and correct your personal data. We undertake not to disclose the information you have provided to us to any other companies or organizations under any circumstances.
